The Worthing Old Village walk will include the history of two of the town's oldest pubs and the dramatic events leading to the death of smuggling leader, William Cowerson in 1832.

We start from outside The Swan in High Street and take a circular route via High Street, Union Place, Chapel Road, North Street, Sussex Road and Upper High Street.

This is the oldest part of Worthing and was where the old agricultural village was founded in Saxon times.
